The City of Dana Point may allow an ADU on that deck level, if permits are requested. There are two ways to get to the beach:  One via Crystal Lantern, the other via the path just above the house to the Del Obispo intersection where you can connect to the Doheny beach trail and Dana Point beach bridge. The Doheny Beach trail is also a par course, and delightful for biking, jogging and walking!  Dana Point lies just south of Laguna Beach and San Clemente lies just south of Dana Point, so you are close to dozens of fabulous beaches, restaurants and shopping.  Access to the freeway is less than five minutes!  Doheny Beach is an ideal beach for learning how to surf, or listening to concerts!
