Listing photographs on our property search pages may be resized and delivered through wsrv.nl, an image processing service, which receives standard web request data (such as your IP address and browser type) when photos load.
Use of artificial intelligence
We create some of the text and images on this site with the help of artificial intelligence tools, and our licensed team reviews them before we publish. This content offers general information about our services and the communities we serve. It is not legal, financial, or appraisal advice. All content on Realatrends.com, including AI-created text and images, belongs to Realatrends Real Estate and may not be copied, scraped, or used to train AI systems without our written permission. When an AI tool processes information you submit, such as a home valuation request, we handle that data under this Privacy Policy and the terms of the third-party service involved.
Saved homes and site activity
When you use realatrends.com, we record the listing pages you view, the homes you save or share, and the searches you run, under a random code stored in your browser. If you give us your email (and, if you choose, your name and phone) to keep your saved homes or to get new listings for a search, we link that record to you so we can send the updates you asked for and follow up with you about them. We do not sell or share this information with anyone. We keep activity that is not linked to an email for 13 months, and activity linked to your email until you ask us to delete it. Realatrends AI chat
Realatrends AI is the chat assistant on realatrends.com. When you use it, we keep your messages, its answers, the pages you visit while you chat and any contact details you enter, under the same random code in your browser as your saved homes. Our team reads chats to help you and to improve the answers. We also keep the IP address a chat starts from, encrypted, and use a database on our own server to find its nearest city, so our team can see where a chat comes from. Anthropic, the company that makes the AI model, processes your messages to write the answers, as our service provider. If an answer needs an outside service, such as a drive time, that service receives the home’s address or map coordinates, or an address you typed for that question. We do not send it your name or your messages. We remove card numbers, Social Security numbers and bank account numbers we find in a message before we store it. We use contact details you enter in the chat the same way as a message you send through our contact form. We do not sell or share chats, and we delete them after 13 months.
