About Niguel Shores Custom
Niguel Shores Custom is the MLS name for one group of single-family homes inside Niguel Shores, the gated community in Dana Point's Monarch Beach area, ZIP 92629. Homes under the name sit on streets such as Magellan Isle, Seaward Isle, Amundsen Bay, Danzig Bay, Cassandra Bay, Crossjack Drive and Brigantine Drive. Most went up from 1972 to 1977 and have about 1,700 to 3,000 square feet on lots of about 4,500 to 7,850 square feet. About seven in ten sold through the MLS record a view.
The association's history dates the subdivision report for the first tract, Broadmoor Homes on Windjammer, Brigantine and Windlass, to 1970, with later tracts through the Villas in 1977; the community center opened in 1973. These homes share the master association, the rules and the gates with the rest of the community: visitors enter through the staffed Mariner Drive gatehouse, and the sand below the bluff is public beach. The MLS files the community's other homes under separate names, such as Terrace and Villas. See Niguel Shores for the whole community.
